Teddy's Bigger Burgers: A Retro Burger Experience in Honolulu

This is a burger spot I’ve visited on all four of my trips to Hawaii. It offers great value for money and an authentic American burger experience. I recommend going with the classic menu, and the onion rings are a delicious side option. The restaurant isn’t the cleanest, so picking up your order might be a good idea. You can also order in advance via Uber Eats for convenience. I don’t recommend the chicken burger, as it’s too salty and tough, but if you’re with kids, the teriyaki burger is a tasty choice.

A simple calm spot to eat a good burger, i should’ve stayed there for dine-in. I usually ordered a delicious Bacado, this time I ordered it big instead of bigger, since the last few times I couldn’t finish it in a sitting. So they made it; nice service nice smell from the kitchen, but when I got home and finally opened it, I saw how it was missing a whole avocado row! Was kind of sad because the burger is always the best with it, but regardless it’s very delicious anyway!

Food came a little warm, closer to cold than hot. Patty cooked medium, tasty. The highlight would be the crispy onion rings, light batter. Would be perfect if it was hot.

Stopped by Teddy’s after a beach day and it totally hit the spot! The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and definitely bigger than your average fast food joint. I went with the Original and added grilled onions—highly recommend. The fries were hot and crispy, and the milkshake was thick and super satisfying. The vibe is fun and retro, and the staff was friendly, though service was a little on the slower side during the dinner rush. Seating can be limited, especially if you’re with a group, but it’s worth the wait if you’re craving a solid burger in Waikiki. Will definitely come back to try one of their specialty burgers next time!

First trial, waited 40+ minutes to get the order but definitely was worth the wait. Delicious smash burger cooked to order and served hot Will come back soon after the renovations are completed

TLDR: tasty burgers for a fair price near main area of Waikiki I came and got a bacon avocado burger for $15. The burger itself was a bit on the smaller side but everything was fresh and well cooked. The avocado was just the right amount of ripeness, the burger had a char to it. The bread was lightly toasted but still soft. I just wish the burger was a bit bigger for the price.

Best Burgers on the island period. The food is made to order and did not take long to come out. The portions are generous and well prepared. The meat is cooked medium with some red in the middle unless you request it differently. The fries taste great. They don't taste like they were left in the fryer. They taste as if they were cut fresh in the back. Sadly, the only bad thing I have to say is they serve coke instead of Pepsi. Other than that, they have a fountain dispenser, so you have refills.
